Sega's WonderBoy was one of the first platformers I ever played and still have a soft spot for the series. It has been good to see them revived like the WonderBoy Dragon's Trap remaster from DotEmu. Another revisit comes our way to the Switch thanks to Strictly Limited.
There was a PS4 release a few years back, but this one comes with a remix to add more fun to the fray. You play as Tom-Tom on the quest to save his love-interest Tina from captivity, jumping, running and keeping your energy up with the fruit that litters each level.
The physical version with a packed collector's edition goes on pre-order on the 20th March for €55 with a production run of 2,000 copies in two waves. There are 3,000 copies of the basic physical release if you just want to get on waving your axe about.
