Disaster Report 4 releases for anyone in need of more crises

This series can't get a break! If memory serves, the Japanese version was scrapped after continued natural disasters over there and now a western version arrives to find the world on lockdown. I'd guess more gamers are more in an Animal Crossing mood than they are for dealing with surviving a city crumbling around them.

Still, the NIS America release is out now and the personal tale of someone stumbling through a disaster zone (without zombies) must have some kind of novelty value. As a young man or woman in a new city, there are plenty of choices to make and perilous situations to avoid. The last game that did see the light of day was a PSP Japan-only release, so hopefully this still has some portable play in mind.

The US limited edition features a natty if tasteless backpack and first aid kit (if that comes with some alcohol gel, imagine the sales boost!) and a soundtrack CD.
