Trails of Cold Steel III heads to Switch

The students of Thors Academy are taking their spring break on the Switch, with the PS4 sequel to the Vita adventures arriving next year. Bringing more battles, mechs and political intrigue to the quiet backwaters of Crossbell, its not just getting a crappy release either, the Thors edition packs in plenty of goodies, but a shame the whole trilogy isn't on the way - likely due to different publishers and rights issues.

The first game was definitely epic on the Vita, with the second warming up the plot nicely. I've played this on the PS4 and the Switch should have no trouble handling the visuals, which were barely a notch up on the portable originals.



Look out for this awesome slice of character-building RPG action early next year.
