Crowd-funded 16-bit retro classic Xeno Crisis is hitting the Sega Genesis/MegaDrive and Dreamcast first in tribute to the legendary Sega platforms. But it will also come to the Switch in early 2019, giving non-Segaites a chance to enjoy the top-down shooter with multiplayer features.
Riffing heavily on the Alien series, it looks brilliant fun and will hopefully inspire more developers to dive into their retro-archives for some historical inspiration. I'd love to see games that riff on Starglider, Virus, Xenon II, Hard Drivin' and other 16-bit epics.
